Local Information
Parking
In order to park in the area, it is necessary to apply for a resident's voucher which can be done via Ringo. Applications need to be made for the location 'W3 (Dowanhill) (70606)' and require an applicant to provide evidence or residence and evidence of ownership of the vehicle for which the permit is required.
Visitor vouchers can be purchased, and this can be done in person at the George Street or online here. There is a minimum purchase of 1 book of visitor's vouchers, containing 5 individual permits, at a cost of £25, and one individual voucher entitles a visitor to park for 6 hours: 8am - 2pm, 12 noon - 6pm or 4pm - 10pm.
Alternatively, parking can be paid for via the Ringo app (using location code 20583) or by using the machine which is opposite the entrance to Hillhead Parish Church on Saltoun Street.
Bin Collections
Both general waste bins and recycling bins on the North Side are collected on a Friday morning, they are collected from the back lane. Note that the back lane is a no parking zone on a Friday to allow the bin lorry to pass.
Recycling Centre
The nearest recycling centre is Dawsholm Recycling Centre. Opening hours are Monday - Sunday, 08:00 - 18:00 (last entry 17:45).

Parcel Depot
The Delivery Office for Glasgow G11 and G12 is located at 283 Clarence Drive, Glasgow, G11 7JP. Opening hours are 8am-10am on Monday to Friday and 8am-12pm on Saturday. Full details can be found at their website.

The nearest dental practices are Hillhead Dental Care which is 0.2 miles away and Glasgow Smile Dentistry which is 0.3 miles away. Most local dental practices are no longer accepting NHS patients.
